Help for All Seasons
Panter is a machine to be used throughout the year. The chipper-shredder to remove branches, twigs and bark from trees, the sweeping brush and the ploughshare can be used continually. The mower, the mulcher and the turner-raker help you in spring, in summer as well as in autumn. In winter you will appreciate the rotary snow plough. All extensions can be used without the necessity to supply electricity. Panter is not a machine to be used a few hours a year and then laid aside in a barn. On the contrary, it is an aid which is ready to be used every day. This versatility saves your money because the system of one driving mill with a number of extensions is considerably less expensive than buying several single-purpose machines. Also, Panter saves storage space.

 

Power and Performance
Panter is a new machine that incorporates all our expertise acquired up to this moment. It is a unique solution with a number of excellent advantages. The machine is very stable thanks to the wide wheel gauge and low position of the mass center. The heart of every machine is the engine. And Panter has a powerful heart. The engine parameters are as follows: 6.5 HP, OHV, forced lubrication, full flow oil filter. This is a combination for an unlimited operation on slopes. The engine is of an heavy-duty type for industrial use which means you can ride the machine several hours every day. Engine speed can be adjusted with a gas control lever. The engine has a regulator to automatically keep the adjusted revolutions and to open and close the throttle depending on load. The engine is fuelled with Natural 95 gasoline with no additives.
With Panter, mowing some 10,000 square meters (or 1 hectar) of grass land requires walking approximately 14.5 kilometers which takes at least 3.5 hours. Mowers produced by our competitor with a cutting width of 56 cm and a speed of 2.7 km per hour usually cover 17.9 km in at least 6.5 hours to mow the same area of 10,000 square meters. In flat or slightly sloped landscape, a seat can be mounted on Panter to sit comfortably during work.

 

Three Speeds - Solution for Everybody
Panter can go on three speeds. Travel speed is of great importance during the operation of the machine. Use the first gear when mowing and mulching high-grown grass and snow ploughing (approximately 1.8 km per hour). You will appreciate the first gear especially on slopes and on heavily neglected plots where mowing is to be performed with special care and attention. Also, reduced speed is suitable for people with health problems who are not able to walk faster. The second gear is the most common speed under normal conditions. Use the third gear when cutting low-grown grass or when crossing to another place. Panter is a companion who is never tired and a true help to match man's physical limitations.

 

Quality Sheels and Adjustable Handlebar for Easy Control
The big wheels with a diameter of 400 mm and classical air tube and tyres are a great advantage. If you have ever used a wheelbarrow you will certainly know how much the wheel quality matters and how much more quickly you get tired if the wheels are small or if the classical tyres are substituted with rubber or plastic. Engine driven mowers differ not only in the ease of manipulation but also in the level of vibration absorption. The classical V-shaped tread design combined with wide wheel gauge serves exceptionally well on slopes. Panter has a handlebar that can be adjusted vertically as well as laterally. When cutting grass along fences and around pillars you walk safely on a side while your hands, shoulders and feet remain untouched by protruding mesh work or wires. The handlebar is collapsible so that the machine fits in a car for transportation. Handlebar attachment can be shifted when heavier extensions are mounted in order to prevent their slipping.

 

Reliable and Simple Mowing disk for Well-Cut Grass
The mowing disk is open from above to throw the mowed grass to the side, beyond the reach of the blades. The throwing of grass is also supported with special spreading device over the disk. If the disk is closed from above the blades cut grass several times and the grass gets damaged. Also, the grass is much more likely to entangle inside the machine. For these reasons, we do not cover the disk from above.
The mowing disk has a slight forward inclination in order for the blades to cut grass in front of it while leaving the stubble untouched by the rear part of the disk. This solution enhances the machine performance and does no harm to the grass. Also, the bottom part of the disk is exposed as much as possible. The smaller the distance from the ground, the better the result of cutting. If the disk were housed from under any irregularity of the ground would elevate the disk and this would result in making the stubble too high to rake conveniently. Moreover, our cutting disk is substantially cheaper than disks that are fully housed. The disk is the deformation zone of the mower. Similar to cars, the mowing machine can be involved in accidents. These occur mainly if the mower bumps into stones, steel pipes, concrete curbs and other obstacles that should in fact be cleared from the area beforehand. The disk is made from a 2 mm thick metal sheet which gets deformed to damp the energy of the bump. If a thicker and more robust metal sheet were used the bump would not be damped and it would be transferred to the machine itself and result in a serious damage to the shaft, bearings and other expensive parts. Our experience of 16 years in the field of drum mowers proved that this kind of mowing disk design is the best for our purposes. Other designs are possible but we believe that our solution is the optimal and most effective for the customers. We provide various shapes of cutting blades that are hard enough to resist bumps into stones and other solid obstacles while being partially sharpened at the same time.

 

Professional Design and Quality
The engine is produced in the USA, the majority of other parts are produced in the Czech Republic. Parts that require machining are prepared in our plant on modern metal-working, forming and welding machines. Plastic parts, wheels and the gearbox are high quality parts supplied by Czech companies. After assembly is completed, each Panter machine is subject to thorough testing. The engine is started and all functions of the machine as well as engine performance are checked. We have special testing devices to constantly test improvements and durability of various parts. We keep the design simple to ensure reliability and to limit the occurence of defects and breakdowns.

 

Health Protection and Environmental Protection
The engine is spring-loaded on the chassis with four silent blocks which adds to vibration reduction. Similar effect is achieved by a special shape of the adjustable handlebar. Panter has half the vibration level than other drum mowers which will make happy everyone who is to work with the machine for several hours. Other advantages include low emission of exhaust gases. The engine complies with the extremely strict America emission limit standards that are lower than European limits. This advantages will be appreciated especially by owners of older two cycle engines. Four cycle engines are also economical and save at least one third of the consumed fuel at comparable operating power. Panter has an acoustic output of Lwa = 96 dB which is largely below the standard limit for this noise parameter.

 

New Panter Extension for 2007
We constantly search new ways of the Panter machine application. This year, we are developping new extensions that will be available at the end of 2007.

The sweeping brush was developed for a customer in Great Britain where this type of brush is used regularly. Unlike rotary brushes, our sweeping brush causes considerably lower dust nuissance which makes it suitable for cleaning pruduction areas, agricultural and storage premises and public places.

 

Rotavator serves for the preparation of soil before planting in the spring.

 

 

 

 

KOR cart is also collapsible and has a capacity of 220 kg. Its main advantage is the controllable wheels to facilitate manipulation with fully loaded cart. The cart is also equipped with a lock to prevent overturning of the cart body. We are preparing simple extensions for the transportation of felled timber
and plastic transportation boxes.

 

 

 

Also, we plan to extend the assortment of Panter extensions line with a belt hay turner OP 114, that has better performance and better effectiveness than OP 112 extension.
